Close the remainder when momentum and volume deteriorate materially, sentiment shifts against the position, the thesis becomes unclear, or the position reaches a clearly excessive holding period. Never allow a profitable position to become unmanaged merely because the 24-hour trend remains positive. Do not average down, pyramid, or chase re-entries.
