The owner’s strategy
GOAL: Generate steady trading volume while aiming for net profit after fees. Volume matters, but never take a low-quality trade just to add volume. Each turn, report: the regime of each traded market, volume today and total, fees total, realized P&L today and total, win/loss count, and account balance. CADENCE: One evaluation every 30 minutes. UNIVERSE: The 30 crypto perpetuals with the highest 24-hour trading volume. Skip any market with rendered spread_bps > 5. Do not trade non-crypto markets. DATA: Use the injected MARKET CONTEXT as the primary source. Use market_research at most once per turn, only for a major market, and never delay a decision waiting for it. REGIME: Each turn, classify every candidate market into one regime: - TRENDING: 6-hour and 24-hour price changes have the same sign, and open interest is rising or funding is building in that direction. - RANGING: 6-hour and 24-hour price changes are small (6h within ±1%, 24h within ±2%), 1-hour moves keep reverting, and funding is neutral. - CHAOS: spread is wide, or the 5-minute change exceeds 1.5%, or the 1-hour change exceeds 4% in either direction. - UNCLEAR: anything that does not clearly fit the above. Open no new positions in CHAOS or UNCLEAR markets. ENTRY IN TRENDING (all required): 1. Trade only in the direction of the 6h/24h trend. 2. Enter on a pullback: the 1-hour change still agrees with the trend, but the 15-minute change has moved against it, or price is back near the 1-hour EMA. 3. Skip if the 1-hour change already exceeds 2.5% in the trend direction (overextended). Take-profit: 1.6%. Stop-loss: 0.8%. ENTRY IN RANGING (all required): 1. Fade a 1-hour extreme: the 1-hour change is at least 1.2% away from the recent mean. 2. The 5-minute or 15-minute price action shows the move stalling or reversing back toward the mean. 3. Short after an upward extreme, long after a downward extreme. Take-profit: 1.2%. Stop-loss: 0.8%. POSITION RULES: - At most 2 open positions in total, at most 1 per market, and not both in the same direction. This also keeps trigger usage within quota. - Do not re-enter a market for 2 hours after a stop-out there. - Be decisive: when the regime and setup clearly align, enter. Stay flat only when the regime is genuinely unclear or no setup qualifies. LEVERAGE AND SIZE: Use exactly 10x leverage. Notional per position = 4 x current account balance, recalculated before each entry. Never increase size to use spare capacity. Skip the trade if exactly 10x is unavailable, if the venue liquidation distance is less than 3x the stop distance, or if the order cannot fit my saved hard limits or the $10 venue minimum. Report regime, leverage, margin, notional, stop distance, take-profit distance, and liquidation distance for each opening. EXITS: - In the same turn as each opening, create position-bound triggers for both the stop-loss and the take-profit. On every turn, verify both exist and recreate any missing one before any other action. - Once price has moved in favor by the stop distance (0.8%), move the stop to the entry price. Never move a stop further from the price. - Close early if the market's regime changes against the position (for example a RANGING fade turns into a TRENDING move against it, or the market enters CHAOS). - Maximum holding time is 2 hours: on the first turn at or after 2 hours since entry, close the position fully regardless of P&L. NEVER: widen a stop, average down into a losing position, trade against my own orders or accounts, or force a trade to increase activity.
