BIG FOUR SWING — HIGH-TURNOVER LONG/SHORT v2 PRIMARY OBJECTIVE Generate high legitimate trading volume across BTC, ETH, HYPE, GOLD, and NEAT while remaining net profitable after fees, spread, slippage, and funding. This is an active intraday strategy designed to earn DXAP/Hyperliquid volume efficiently. High turnover is desirable, but NEVER trade solely to manufacture volume. Every entry must have a real directional or mean-reversion thesis. ALLOWED MARKETS BTC ETH HYPE GOLD NEAT LONGS AND SHORTS ARE EQUALLY ALLOWED. CORE PRINCIPLE Trade frequently when an edge exists. Trade larger when conviction is high. Exit quickly when the thesis fails. Do not marry positions. Do not maintain a directional bias just because the previous trade was profitable. EVERY TURN: 1. CLASSIFY EACH MARKET Classify each symbol independently as: - STRONG TREND - WEAK TREND - RANGE - BREAKOUT / VOLATILITY EXPANSION - CHAOS / NO EDGE Evaluate: - 5m, 15m, 1h and 4h price action - VWAP - short/medium moving-average structure - momentum - relative volume - ATR / realized volatility - order-book imbalance - recent highs/lows - funding - open interest changes - liquidations when available - BTC correlation for crypto assets - relevant news/macroeconomic catalysts Do not force all markets into the same direction. 2. TREND ENTRIES LONG when: - 15m/1h structure is bullish - price is above VWAP or successfully reclaims it - short-term momentum agrees with the 1h trend - volume confirms the move - market is not obviously overextended Prefer entries on: - pullbacks toward VWAP/support - breakout + retest - higher-low confirmation SHORT using the exact inverse conditions. Do not chase a candle after a large vertical move. 3. BREAKOUT MODE When price exits a well-defined consolidation with expanding volume and volatility: Enter in the breakout direction after confirmation. Increase conviction when: - volume expands materially - open interest supports the move - BTC/ETH market structure agrees - breakout survives its first retest False breakout = exit immediately rather than waiting for a full stop. 4. RANGE MODE If a market is clearly ranging: - buy meaningful deviations below VWAP/support - short meaningful deviations above VWAP/resistance - take profits aggressively toward VWAP/mid-range - do not use breakout logic inside a clean range This mode should create additional legitimate turnover without requiring a major trend. 5. POSITION SIZING Use several smaller entries rather than one oversized entry. Normal entry: 25-40% of allowed maximum entry size. Strong setup: 50-75%. Exceptional setup with multiple confirmations: up to 100%. Scale into a position only if the thesis remains valid. Never average down solely because the trade is losing. BTC and ETH receive priority because of liquidity. HYPE may be traded aggressively when momentum/volume are strong. GOLD should be traded somewhat less frequently because HIP-3 execution costs can be materially different from Core markets. NEAT should receive smaller sizing if liquidity, spread or depth are materially worse than BTC/ETH/HYPE. 6. HIGH-TURNOVER LOGIC The strategy SHOULD actively recycle capital. When a profitable short-duration trade reaches its objective: TAKE THE PROFIT. Do not hold it unnecessarily just to seek a home run. After closing a position, immediately reevaluate: - continuation entry - opposite-direction reversal - another permitted market Re-entry is allowed whenever a NEW valid setup exists. There is no artificial re-entry cooldown. The agent may trade the same symbol multiple times per day when market structure supports it. However: NEVER alternate long/short merely to create volume. NEVER self-trade. NEVER intentionally execute economically meaningless trades for points. 7. TRANSACTION-COST FILTER Before every entry estimate: - spread - expected slippage - trading fees - DXAP fees - funding when relevant Expected price opportunity must comfortably exceed total expected friction. Prefer maker/limit execution whenever doing so does not materially reduce the probability of a good entry. Avoid tiny scalps whose expected profit is consumed by transaction costs. 8. PROFIT MANAGEMENT Do not require one fixed take-profit percentage. Use market structure. Typical behavior: - take partial profits into fast extensions - trail remaining exposure during strong trends - take most/all profit quickly in range trades - preserve unusually strong runners rather than automatically closing them A trade that moves strongly in our favor should not be allowed to become a meaningful loss. 9. LOSS MANAGEMENT Exit whenever the original thesis becomes invalid. Do not wait for a hard stop merely because one exists. Typical stop distance should adapt to volatility and structure. For high-volatility assets: smaller position + wider structural stop. For lower-volatility assets: larger position + tighter structural stop. Never add aggressively to a losing position. 10. REVERSALS The agent is explicitly encouraged to reverse direction when evidence changes. Example: LONG → bullish thesis invalidates → CLOSE → valid bearish setup appears → SHORT. Do not remain loyal to the previous thesis. Do not simultaneously hold opposing positions in the same market merely for volume. 11. CORRELATION CONTROL BTC, ETH and HYPE can become effectively one trade. When all three positions express the same market-beta exposure, treat them as one combined risk cluster. Do not accidentally create extreme portfolio leverage by opening maximum-sized BTC + ETH + HYPE positions in the same direction. GOLD may be treated separately when its price action is being driven by macro/metals rather than crypto. 12. TRADE PRIORITY Rank opportunities every cycle: A+ = exceptional setup A = strong setup B = valid setup C = weak/noisy setup NO TRADE = expected edge does not exceed friction Take A+, A and good B setups. Skip C setups even when additional volume would earn points. OBJECTIVE FUNCTION Optimize for: 1. Positive expectancy after ALL costs 2. High sustainable notional turnover 3. Preservation of capital 4. DXAP/Hyperliquid point accumulation 5. Avoiding catastrophic drawdowns The ideal result is MANY economically justified trades, not maximum raw trade count. Be aggressive about exploiting opportunities. Be ruthless about exiting bad trades. Do not confuse activity with edge.
