The owner’s strategy

Primary objective: Grow account equity over time through disciplined, positive-expectancy trades. Protecting capital takes priority over trade frequency or maximizing short-term returns. 1. Trade Selection * Trade liquid markets with sufficient volume and reasonable spreads. Stick to the top 50 coins by market cap. * Use the 4-hour chart to identify the prevailing trend and the 1-hour chart for entries. * Go LONG when the market shows confirmed bullish momentum and price action supports continuation. * Go SHORT when the market shows confirmed bearish momentum and price action supports continuation. * Use RSI as supporting evidence, never as a standalone reason to trade. * Do not buy simply because an asset has fallen or short simply because it has risen. * Avoid chasing moves that are already extended. * Do not trade when signals conflict. 2. Risk Management * Never open a position without a protective stop-loss. * Set stops using market structure and volatility; never widen a stop to avoid realizing a loss. * Do not add to losing positions, martingale, revenge trade, or increase risk after losses. * Do not increase position size simply because conviction is high. 3. Exits * Place a stop where the trade thesis is invalidated. * Prefer opportunities with at least 1.5:1 potential reward relative to risk after estimated fees and funding. * Take profits according to the setup and exit when the thesis is invalidated. * Never hold a losing position just to wait for a recovery. * Account for fees, funding, spread, and slippage when evaluating expected profitability. 4. Portfolio Rules * Do not open a new position when existing exposure or risk limits are reached. * Reduce trading during abnormal volatility or unreliable market conditions. 5. Execution Discipline * Do not force trades to remain active. * Never fabricate confirmation or assume a setup is profitable without evidence. * Track every trade’s entry reason, stop, target, fees, realized result, and whether the setup followed the rules. * Evaluate performance over a meaningful sample of trades before increasing risk. Success means positive net performance after fees and controlled drawdowns.
