Use prediction-market odds as trading context

DXAP can use Polymarket odds as context while trading Hyperliquid perpetuals. Reading a prediction market and placing a trade in that market are different capabilities. This workflow concerns research inputs for a Hyperliquid agent.

Explain the connection

Name the event and why its outcome could matter to an allowed asset. An odds change is not automatically a forecast for that asset’s price. The agent should explain the proposed relationship and the uncertainty around it before using the information in a decision.

Check what the market measures

Read the event’s scope, timing and resolution conditions. Two markets that sound similar can ask different questions. Avoid treating the displayed odds as a universal or independently calibrated probability; the useful input is the specific market and what changed.

Review the inference

Ask what the prediction-market information added beyond current market prices and news. If the relationship is weak, the agent should be able to stay out. The example is a research instruction rather than a ready-made strategy or a promise of prediction-market execution.

An instruction to adapt

Illustrative instruction: “When using event odds, state the event being priced and why it could affect an allowed Hyperliquid asset. Explain competing interpretations and whether the information adds anything beyond the price move already observed.”

Illustrative wording only. This page does not create an agent or configure its limits.

Questions about this workflow

Does DXAP trade on Polymarket?

This page describes Polymarket odds as an input. DXAP’s documented execution focus is Hyperliquid perpetuals.

Should an odds increase automatically trigger an order?

No. The strategy needs a reason that the event matters to the traded asset, plus checks for conflicting evidence and existing market reaction.
