Use social sentiment as trading context
Social discussion can suggest a question to investigate. It should not substitute for a market thesis. DXAP includes Crypto Twitter Alpha, a lab-curated and tagged X stream, among its documented inputs for agent decisions.

Specify the role of social evidence
Decide whether social information is a lead for research, a confirmation signal or a reason for caution. A large amount of discussion can reflect repetition, promotion or reaction to a move already underway. Ask the agent to explain what new information the discussion contributes.
Compare with market evidence
Have the agent compare the social thesis with available market data and opposing evidence. Repeated mentions are not independent observations by default. This workflow does not claim exhaustive X coverage, a complete historical feed or guaranteed detection of emerging narratives.
Keep the explanation inspectable
Review which source material mattered and whether it changed the decision. If the agent cites social activity vaguely, ask what inference it made and what would falsify it. Keep the account’s permitted assets and limits configured outside the prompt.
An instruction to adapt
Illustrative instruction: “Treat social discussion as a research lead. Explain what is new, distinguish repeated claims from separate evidence, and compare the thesis with market conditions. Do not trade solely because an asset is receiving attention.”
Illustrative wording only. This page does not create an agent or configure its limits.
Questions about this workflow
Does DXAP read all of X?
This page makes no claim of exhaustive coverage. DXAP documents a curated, tagged Crypto Twitter Alpha input.
Is social attention a trading signal by itself?
Attention can help identify a topic to investigate. The strategy should specify how it relates to a thesis and when the evidence is insufficient.
