Move from manual trading to a Hyperliquid agent

Start by translating your existing decision process into instructions, then review the agent against that process. DXAP lets you direct a hosted Hyperliquid agent and inspect its decisions. The goal is a controlled handoff of specific tasks, not an unexplained change of strategy.

Describe what you already do

List the inputs you check, the conditions that make you skip a trade and the reasons you exit. Separate repeatable steps from judgment calls. This makes it easier to decide whether a simple order or bot would cover the task, or whether an agent adds useful interpretation.

Set the authority before the handoff

Review the connected Hyperliquid account and trade-only authorization. Configure the assets and limits you want enforced. Do not assume an existing manual position disappears when an agent is created or paused. Review account exposure directly before and after changing who can trade it.

Compare the reasoning first

Use the turn record and debriefs to ask why the agent acted or waited. If a decision differs from your intended process, identify whether the cause was the instruction, available information or a configured constraint. Change one clear issue rather than rewriting the strategy after every result.

Put it into practice

Handoff checklist: my market scope; inputs I check; reasons I stay out; configured limits; existing account exposure; where I review the next decision. Keep the written strategy beside the first debrief.

Questions about this workflow

Does joining the waitlist create an agent?

No. DXAP alpha access requires a valid referral code. The waitlist requests access; account authorization and agent setup are separate steps.

Can I begin in paper mode?

DXAP does not currently offer a user paper-trading mode. Its minimum is $10 USDC per agent and operation uses real funds.
