Pause an agent, revoke access, or close a position?

Pausing an agent, revoking its trading authorization and closing a position are different operations. In DXAP, review the agent state and the Hyperliquid account separately when stopping automation. Existing exposure needs an explicit check.

Pause the automation

Use the product’s pause control when you want to stop agent operation. Then inspect the account for positions and orders. Do not treat a pause request as a guarantee that all exposure has been flattened or that an in-flight action was cancelled at the exchange.

Revoke the permission

Hyperliquid agent-wallet authorization is revocable. Revoking a key prevents further use of that trading permission. It does not by itself close a position created earlier. If you are removing the platform’s ability to trade, review both the permission and any remaining orders or positions directly on Hyperliquid.

Close exposure deliberately

A position remains exposed to price changes and funding until it is closed or otherwise resolved at the venue. Closing it is a trading action, potentially with fees and slippage. Inspect the result after submitting a close; the request alone is not a filled exit.

Put it into practice

Stop checklist: check agent status; review trading authorization; inspect open orders; inspect positions; confirm any intended cancellations or exits at the venue. Do not collapse these into a single “off” state.

Questions about this workflow

Does revoking an agent wallet close my trades?

No. Revocation removes permission for future use of the key. Existing positions require separate management.

Can funding continue after I pause an agent?

An open perpetual position may continue to incur or receive funding at the venue. Pausing software does not remove that exposure.
